Privacy Policy

Aksal Group is Morocco’s leading luxury retail group and the operator of the Aksal Black loyalty programme, headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco. For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, Aksal Group is the data controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Identity data — your name, date of birth and photograph (where you choose to add one).
• Contact data — email address, phone number and preferred language.
• Membership data — your member number, tier, join date, points balance and benefit usage.
• Transaction data — purchases at Aksal partner brands used to calculate your cashback, tier progression and installment eligibility.
• App and access data — QR-code scans for Rose Boulevard parking and premium facilities, appointment bookings and event RSVPs.
• Device and usage data — technical data collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookies Policy.

We use your personal data to:

• operate the Aksal Black programme — crediting cashback, calculating tier progression and delivering tier benefits;
• credit and manage your kenzup points balance;
• manage access to Rose Boulevard, private parking, the Suite, personal-shopper appointments and Tea Time reservations;
• deliver welcome and birthday bonuses and invitations to events, tastings and premieres;
• send you personalised communications and newsletters, where you have consented to receive them;
• improve our services, secure our systems and prevent fraud; and
• comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We process your data on the following bases: the performance of your membership agreement (operating the programme and its benefits); your consent (marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (service improvement, security and fraud prevention); and legal compliance.

Our processing complies with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and with the requirements of the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP).

We share personal data only where necessary to run the programme:

• Aksal partner brands — so your membership and tier benefits are recognised at the point of sale;
• kenzup — Morocco’s loyalty platform, which operates the points wallet in which your cashback is credited;
• Service providers — hosting, analytics and communication providers acting on our instructions under contract; and
• Authorities — where disclosure is required by law or by a competent authority.

We never sell your personal data.

We keep your personal data for as long as your membership is active, and afterwards only for the periods required by applicable law (for example accounting and tax obligations). Data that is no longer needed is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Under Law No. 09-08 you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it rectified, to object to its processing for legitimate reasons, and to object at any time and free of charge to its use for direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@aksal.ma. We will respond within the periods provided by law. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNDP.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data — encryption in transit, access controls, segregated environments and staff confidentiality undertakings. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your rights occurs, we will notify you and the competent authorities as required by law.
